Seit 1985 spezialisiert sich Vulkan INOX auf die Entwicklung, Produktion und den Vertrieb von hochwertigen Edelstahlstrahlmitteln.<\/p>\n<p>Neben Qualit\u00e4tssicherung verantwortet er auch Themen wie Normung, Umwelt und Nachhaltigkeit \u2013 kurz: alles, was den technischen und regulatorischen Anspruch an Produkte betrifft.<\/p>\n<p>Ein zentrales Thema dabei: die visuelle Strahlmittelanalyse.<br \/>\nZiel ist es, runde und unrunde Partikel korrekt zu klassifizieren \u2013 laut Norm darf ein Partikel als \u201eunrund\u201c gelten, wenn er mindestens doppelt so lang wie breit ist.<br \/>\nBisher lief dieser Prozess rein visuell: Mitarbeitende betrachteten Proben unter dem Mikroskop und beurteilten das Bild nach Erfahrung.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Die Herausforderungen dabei:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Unterschiedliche Ergebnisse:<\/strong> Jeder sieht das Bild anders \u2013 von Person zu Person, Tagesform zu Tagesform.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diskussionsbedarf bei Grenzf\u00e4llen:<\/strong> Besonders bei Normabweichungen kam es zu l\u00e4ngeren Abstimmungen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Begrenzte Transparenz:<\/strong> Die visuelle Einsch\u00e4tzung lie\u00df sich sp\u00e4ter kaum nachvollziehen oder belegen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Andr\u00e9 Hahn suchte nach einer objektiveren und nachvollziehbaren L\u00f6sung.<\/p>\n","CS_solution_text":"<p>\u00dcber eine Fachver\u00f6ffentlichung stie\u00df er auf MiViA \u2013 und war sofort interessiert: Eine KI-gest\u00fctzte Bildanalyse, urspr\u00fcnglich aus der Korngr\u00f6\u00dfenanalyse in der Werkstofftechnik entwickelt, schien auch f\u00fcr seine Anforderungen adaptierbar zu sein.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eIch wusste: Wenn man runde K\u00f6rner erkennt, kann man auch runde Partikel erkennen \u2013 die Grundlagen sind \u00e4hnlich.\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gemeinsam mit MiViA startete Vulkan INOX eine individuelle Weiterentwicklung. Der Fokus lag auf folgenden Punkten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automatisierte Unterscheidung zwischen runden und unrunden Partikeln<\/li>\n<li>Klare Farbkennzeichnung zur sofortigen Trennung im Bild<\/li>\n<li>Z\u00e4hlgenaue Auswertungen \u2013 auch bei sehr hoher Partikeldichte<\/li>\n<li>Exportfunktionen f\u00fcr PDF-Reports zur Kundenkommunikation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die ersten Testl\u00e4ufe zeigten: Selbst bei Bildern, bei denen das Auge 150 Partikel vermutete, erkannte MiViA \u00fcber 500 einzelne Partikel \u2013 ein v\u00f6llig neues Ma\u00df an Genauigkeit.<\/p>\n","CS_results_text":"<p>Die Vorteile liegen f\u00fcr Vulkan INOX auf der Hand \u2013 allerdings mit einem Augenzwinkern:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eNat\u00fcrlich sehe ich das Potenzial.
